Light

The Darkness creeps in, and consumes many things, But there is a light, that overcomes all things that walk upon the earth. A light that many do not understand, but many love at the sight of. A light that many hate, but can not kill. The shadows seek to swallow it up with their evil deeds. When will they learn there is no way of putting out the passion of a burning flame? Light consumes obscurity, not ever releasing it to be free again. A candle may grow dim, but a flickering flame remains. Light never shrinks back from overwhelming darkness, for it knows it is powered by Something much greater than the nothingness of night. What is darkness to alarm a human? It is made of only nothingness. Who are we to run away, when darkness comes, if we beleive we can quietly resist it, and it will and has to flee from us? What weapon formed against us shall prosper? NONE, for the light burns the weapons away. In the brilliance of the face of the Son, the arms of darkness crumble. He is the light that over powers all means of enemy warfare. His gaze captivates the heart of those who love him, and makes them look like him. Look toward the Son, let his radiance over take your heart, and flow in what He has for you, and you will become like the One you love.
